On Halloween I had the opportunity (thanks to my wonderful friend Brooke!) to be a photographer for the JDRF at their annual "Walk for the Cure." It was amazing how many people came out to support the cause and the costumes were all fun to see too!

How cute is this boy band?? They were actually really good too!

Round 1

We have a special bond with this family and I feel so privileged to be able to do their family pictures this year! They lost a wonderful husband and father, and my husband lost a very good friend, a little over a year ago. The littlest wasn't born yet, but we are all just amazed at how much he looks like his daddy! They are all wearing their daddy's neckties. I thought this was an AWESOME idea! (We will also be going to another location to get some more-hence "Round 1"- so look for those in the near future!)

This day was so cold (and by cold I mean 65 degrees and windy)! By the end of it, these poor kids had little red, runny noses but they did a good job hanging in there!

How cute are the dresses on these little girls?? They were great, and I think the water-play at the end of the session was a big hit!

Back up to beautiful Taylor for this shoot of Chris's Aunt's family. Love these guys! They did great and it was well worth the dollar store toy promised the littlest!

This family was so fun! They looked awesome and the kids were great to work with! They lasted a long time before they decided they had enough!

This is a friend of ours that lives out of town. They scheduled their shoot while they were here on vacation so I feel very flattered that they wanted me to do their pictures enough to wake up early and spend their morning with me!

Ok... he's not their kid, but they said they like to torture their parents sometimes and fake like they have a kid, just because they never will. This was a fun joke picture to play around with.
